(Rochester, NH - April 11, 2001) -------DFE is proud to introduce the TensionManager™ a flexible, digital control system, designed for OEM designers, to be easily configured for new web presses and web process machinery. It's a multi-component  system that can be purchased in dozens of different arrangements to give machine builders a flexible tension control solution at a great base price.

TensionManager's base is an efficient, single-board control module.  Additional compact, DIN-rail modules extend the Control Module's functionality and are connected as add-ons if required. The control package was designed specifically to reduce cost and optimize existing space for machinery builders and OEMs. 

TensionManager™ is the perfect alternative to full-featured, integrated tension controllers that come in a single enclosure with a built-in operator interface. With the TensionManager's 'add-on-as-needed' approach, functionality and space-savings are optimized while cost is kept to a minimum. 

The TensionManager™ may be setup and operated through a variety of available user interfaces including DFE's PCLink™ software running on a PC or laptop.  The controller requires a minimum of tuning and operator adjustment.
