NWI- NARROW WEB TENSION INDICATOR

The NWI Narrow Web Indicator, designed for accurately monitoring process tension on narrow web printing presses and converting machinery, is a variation of DFE's Narrow Web tension transducer. It combines the cantilevered idler roller and strain-gage sensors of the Narrow Web transducer with a built-in, digital, LED tension display.

The base of the NWI roll bolts onto the cantilevered-frame of a press or machine at a desired point in the web path and reads out running tension on the LED display at the roll end during operation. For a machine operator, who must make control adjustments when web tension runs outside acceptable limits, the direct on-sensor tension display is convenient and easy-to-read.

The Narrow Web Indicator comes with its own 115/ 230Vac power supply. The power supply module includes a 0 - 10Vdc output with terminal block for wiring the output to a drive, PLC or other device. The NWI comes in standard roll face widths of 8", 10" and 14" and is sold as an option to the Narrow Web tension transducer. The Narrow Web Indicator is covered by DFE's Tension-Freesm 5-YEAR PRODUCT WARRANTY.
