NO-SQUEAL WARRANTY ON BRAKES (ROCHESTER, NH--March 30, 1999) Dover Flexo Electronics, Inc. (DFE) announces that the company has discovered and begun implementing a solution to the longstanding industry problem of squealing and screeching pneumatic brakes. As of April 2, 1999 the company warrants its dual disc and single disc brake lines to be free from annoying squealing noises. This extra coverage works in addition to DFE's new 5 year materials and workmanship warranty. DFE is able to offer a no-squeal warranty because of a recent proprietary design feature that will virtually end routine squeal problems for users of Dover's dual disc or single disc brakes. The 'fix' comes after much research and cooperation with the dissatisfied brake customers of several manufacturers. "Brake squeal has been a problem that has plagued many industrial pneumatic brake manufacturers and their customers for years," says Tony Ciriello, Dover Flexo's General Manager. "We've been working on a solution for a long time and we're pleased to finally be able to offer relief to our customers who suffer from squealing brakes." The No-Squeal Warranty: Dover Flexo Electronics, Inc. (DFE) warrants our dual disc and single
disc tensioning brakes against annoying squealing noises when installed
according to our instructions. This warranty shall be void if non-DFE parts
are used in the brake or if the brake has been contaminated with liquid,
solid, or powder applied to the brake discs or friction
This warranty is in addition to our standard warranty. It applies to brakes purchased after April 2, 1999.
